Fifties Dive

These are a cool sat and pepper shaker for those who love the 1950’s! The bottles are small and are made out of glass. They both have a silver top that is shiny and reflects the lights nicely. You can see the name brand called, “Coca Cola” on the front and they can hold lots of both these spices. They resemble the older soda shapes and look well put together. My cousin has these salt and pepper shakers that are similar to these two and she uses them a lot. She got these from her friend, and it turns out her friend bought the same ones too!

This is a beautiful white and black cup gift for those who love the 50s! The cup has a silver top that shines in the light and has a clear covering. This has a nice curved U-shape and has a good print on the bottle. This fancy bottle has a great eye-catching logo and has the year 1951 labeled on it. The cup has the sentence, “limited edition” and looks stunning. My best friend has this same bottle in her cabinet, and she got this as a gift from her aunt. She always drinks her coffee in the morning in this cup.

This video starts off with a medical doctor reacting to 1950's health films. As usual they use a narrator over the film. I would it was the trend back in the 50's to use narration for everything and I do like it in my opinion.  It starts off with the film of a young boy running with his dog and the reactor seems amused by this concept.  He pokes fun at the dogs name which was Mr.dorag. I have to agree that naming your dog this name is odd but it is cute as well.  Moves onto how back in the day there was an awareness for kids not to get overtired from playing too much outside.  In today's world children are more at home with their iPads or watching television all day and not ever outside anymore. This doesn't speak for all children but the majority.  The next film that should be discussed is how people used singing in commercials to spread awareness or to go along with a product someone is selling. Which is not uncommon as we still use this tactic today but not a...

Cyan radio gift for those who love the 1950s! This small radio has a nice rounded speaker with their logo labeled on it. They included a knob to change the stations you would like to listen to. Also, a smaller one to choose which volume you think is best. I imagine many people who have this device would be cooking or cleaning while listening to cheerful Christmas music. This radio is so small I am sure you could take it anywhere or you could use it as a good center piece in your living room.

Small car ornament gift for those who love vintage! This ornament has an olive-green color along with a beige and brown print. Above the tires, this small car has a checkered black and beige color plallet. I love the wreath in the front of the car and a Christmas tree tightly tucked at the top. I love the look of this gift as it looks so cute and festive for the Christmas holidays. This car may be small but has such a radiant glow to it.

Glass Christmas tree gift for those who love the Golden Age! This small tree is made up of smooth glass with different colored ornaments. It has a sparkly star at the top and green leaves hanging down to hold these cute ornaments. This looks like a beautiful Christmas present to buy someone. I recently purchased this item and it sits wonderfully on my coffee table. It is stunning to look at. This piece would look great in any room and would brighten up your house in the best way possible. I imagine this gift in my grandma's kitchen countertop as she loved any Christmas decorations she got from her grandkids.
