This TikTok video has an accurate representation on fashion and makeup looks from the era of the 1950's. These clips show a woman dressing in clothing from what children, teenagers, young adults, adults, and grandmother's would wear during the 50's.  She first shows her audience the looks of what girls in high school would wear mostly consisting of dresses and skirts. How different ages dressed and their swimwear as well during this time period.  How grandmothers and adults dress in longer dresses and skirts than the younger ages during this era but consists of great colors that catch your eye. Green Soft Vintage Dress for People who Love the Golden Age

This is a wonderful green, soft vintage dress for people who love the Golden Age! The outfit is not too short but not too long either, it has two white bows that your hands could fiddle with. It would go great with white shoes and white glasses if you would prefer. An honestly would be a nice style to wear on a picnic date. This clothing item had a pattern that makes you fuzzy inside and reminds me of something my grandmother would wear. She was all about beauty and having the best outfits to wear that made her feel confident. My grandma was never without nice sleek clothing that stood out and made her the talk of the town. She was always the one to go for a pop of color and had the figure to pull of this dress as well.

Would you Choose to be Male or Female in the 1950's?

For some, this may be a hard to answer since times have changed but I would choose to be a female in the 1950's. This is because I would not mind to be the homemaker who cared for the children.  I do not know if this is because I am more of a nurturing person or if I just like staying home compared to others but I do not judge if your opinion is different. I respect that we all have different perspectives on topics. I just would imagine myself with many children and living that family suburban life. I quite like how people in this decade wanted to stay in marriage for a long term commitment and did just that. I believe they had a pinning ceremony meaning it is a engagement gesture and for the purpose of marriage. Although women in this era were about weight and exercise, it is not extreme as it is today. These ladies had healthy women barring bodies and seemed to be proud of it as well based on photos I have seen.  I am fond of the notion of being feminine and dressing this way. I

Medium Rectangle Banner for People who Love the Golden Age

This is a cool medium rectangle banner for people who love the Golden Age! The poster is wide with lots of beautiful colors to bring the suggestion of fun to hang in your home for a fifties decade party or for a birthday party. It does not need a lot of room for this banner but does seem nice to look at. This has two cars that looks exactly those in the pictures in the 1950's. If I were to have a party anytime soon, I would love to use this poster in the background to add style. This is the type that my grandpa would like to view and think back on good and happy memories from this time period. I am sure to hear lots of these stories. It correlates to other old collections my grandfather acquired over the years.

What I Love About the 1950's Fashion

I have to say I love the 50's fashion for both men and women. The women had beautiful flared out short dresses, dresses that clung to the knees, and capris pants as well. They also included great variety of colors and patterns too. Women sometimes paired a hat, gloves, jewelry, purses, and scarfs into their outfits. I like the formal clothing they dressed in everyday.  My favorite look from this linked picture is the within the time frame of 1956. The light pink with the white stripes going horizontal with small white gloves on.  Along with white earrings and tan high heels. I do like that in this time period they did not have huge high heels either.  The men wore suits, pattern shirts and dress pants, long and short pants. They include hats, bags, and long socks. Even though the males clothes are simple they still have a sleek and formal vibe as well. My favorite outfit from the men's side is from the year 1953. This gentlemen has a bright yellow top and under this is maybe a

Small fluffy Chiffon Scarf

This is a cute small fluffy chiffon scarf gift for people who are 50's lovers! The soft and light material is great for summer and spring seasons. It comes in lots of beautiful colors and will make you stand out to others. I remember my grandpa giving me this gift after my grandmother passed and it was the one thing that helped me through my grieving process. I still have a red one hanging in my room to remind me of her everyday. I frequently look back on pictures of her with her favorite scarf on and relish in those happy moments she had in her lifetime. I will for sure be passing this item down through my children as well.

5 Television Shows from the 1950's I Love

I love the humor and childlike vibe it has.   2) Tales of Wells Fargo This series is special to me as my grandpa and I watch it together every month. The main character Jim was great about justice and has a good heart. 3) Cheyenne This program I found randomly one day and I got hooked on the story line. I do have to say I have a crush on Clint Walker and I like that they included Native Americans as well.  4) The Huckleberry Hound Show This series was a fun show to watch as a child I loved all the careers he had and how positive he was as well. It made me imagine what I would be when I grew up.  5) The Lone Ranger This program is one of my recent favorites as Lone Ranger and his friend named Tonto help the helpless and win against all evil. I like all the intense action in this series.

Black and White Elvis CD Gift for People who are 50's Lovers

I am obsessed with this black and white Elvis CD gift for people who are 50's lovers! This live CD is small but holds great songs of his from the 1950's through the 1970's. The photo on this cover shows him comfortable with the crowd and singing with confidence. We who are into this decade know all about how Elvis had such moving and fun music and a song list such as this brings all new perspectives on this topic. It is unique, creative, and has a design that maintains a respectful view of him.

How I got Interested in the 1950's

My love for the 50's began when my grandfather told me a few years ago about his stories within that era. How he and my grandmother used to go to the drive-in theaters whenever they could, how they would have competitions on who hula hooped the longest, and listened to their shared love of Elvis as well.  Since I was so intrigued with my grandpas tales, he showed me his handmade Elvis guitar that he built for my grandma and after about a year later he gifted it to me for my birthday. I was so happy I cried for upon receiving it and it still hangs on my wall to this day! From many of these stories, looking at the things he collected over the years, and researching into this decade further, I was obsessed with everything that came with this time period.  I loved the shows, the fashion, the people, the singers, actors, all the golden age had to offer! All of these were great but it did come to my mind on how there were after-effects from the Second World War that people were dealing

I love this blue, smooth bundle gift for people who are 50's lovers! These 1950's accessories have a bunch of colors you can choose from, so if you are a red color kind of person you can spark a classy look. The scarf and headband have strong material and can serve as a multipurpose as well. We who enjoy this decade style love to talk about our fashion and a combination like this opens the floor for more discussion. It is cute, vibrant, and the design is comforting.
