Fifties Dive

This is a nice solid mug for those who love the 1950’s! This cup is in all white that matches many people’s modern kitchen style. It has a black print on the front of the mug and is small. The mug fits a good amount of coffee and looks to be sturdy as well. This cup has a tiny handle and has a round bottom. My aunt has a cup that is this similar and it reminds me of when she gets her morning coffee. She bought one for my grandpa, but he does not use it much. Anyway, she loves her coffee all black without any creamer which is quite strange.

This is a beautiful blue dress gift for those who love the 50s! The pencil dress has medium long sleeves that do not cling to the arms and a zipper in the back. The front part of this outfit has a V-neck shape and has wrinkles on the fabric. This dress is in a blue color and has a fuzzy material. I notice that this outfit extends to the knees and hugs the hips. My grandmother used to have a dress just like this and she was so sad to have given this away. She loved wearing it all the time but as she got older it did not fit her anymore.

I have to agree that naming your dog this name is odd but it is cute as well.  Moves onto how back in the day there was an awareness for kids not to get overtired from playing too much outside.  In today's world children are more at home with their iPads or watching television all day and not ever outside anymore. This doesn't speak for all children but the majority.  The next film that should be discussed is how people used singing in commercials to spread awareness or to go along with a product someone is selling. It has a small present beside him with a green box and a red tie that is made into a bow. I bought this as a remembrance for my grandma as she had a dog named Coco that was with her leading up to her death. It brings me comfort to know I have something that I can remind me of her everyday leading up to Christmas Eve and that she is still looking over me. I truly treasure this on my Christmas tree as it brings back happy memmories for me.

This is a wonderful green, soft vintage dress for people who love the Golden Age! The outfit is not too short but not too long either, it has two white bows that your hands could fiddle with. It would go great with white shoes and white glasses if you would prefer. An honestly would be a nice style to wear on a picnic date. This clothing item had a pattern that makes you fuzzy inside and reminds me of something my grandmother would wear. She was all about beauty and having the best outfits to wear that made her feel confident. My grandma was never without nice sleek clothing that stood out and made her the talk of the town. She was always the one to go for a pop of color and had the figure to pull of this dress as well.

This is a cool medium rectangle banner for people who love the Golden Age! The poster is wide with lots of beautiful colors to bring the suggestion of fun to hang in your home for a fifties decade party or for a birthday party. It does not need a lot of room for this banner but does seem nice to look at. This has two cars that looks exactly those in the pictures in the 1950's. If I were to have a party anytime soon, I would love to use this poster in the background to add style. This is the type that my grandpa would like to view and think back on good and happy memories from this time period. I am sure to hear lots of these stories. It correlates to other old collections my grandfather acquired over the years.

I remember my grandpa giving me this gift after my grandmother passed and it was the one thing that helped me through my grieving process.
