Thoughts on 50's Hairstyles Hairstyles back in this era were mostly shown of women with short curly hair. They had big curls that made the volume in their hair rise and looked so shiny as well. The women put curlers in their hair the night before while it was wet so once they took them out they would have lushish waves on the top of their heads.
