What Influenced Cleanliness For Adults and Children

When things go south during the 1950's era, they make educational videos to educate the public.

This is not a bad idea to do, I think we should have educational videos like this as advertisements along with those for car insurances, and more.

Specifically in 1951, many adults made a good film on how children need to have good hygiene and how to maintain it.

By watching these videos today they do have important information but seems like it would be terrifying for children at this time since I saw a giant tooth influencing kids.

I do have to mention, I love the narration they do for these videos they produced back in the 50's. The men have calm asmr voices.

They do include videos such as brushing your teeth, washing your hands, showering daily, washing your dishes, and cleaning up your house.

What shocked me to find out was how bars of soap during this time were used for everything including laundry.

Many of these producers for these videos concentrated on how people were supposed to look representable and beautiful.

They focused a lot on looks and how happy and successful people were on the outside rather looking inward.

What Was Good About 1950's Cars?

I have to say that 1950’s cars look like they are from a whole different universe. What I love about these cars are the white streak around the front of each of the tires. You have many car brands such as the Packard, Mercury, Chevrolet Corvette, Hudson, Ford Thunderbird, Chevrolet Bel Air, Chrysler Imperial, Chrysler New Yorker, Buick Skylar, and more! I personally have to say the Chevrolet Bel Air is my favorite looks wise. Many people who had cars in this era were more towards those with some wealth. I noticed that a lot of the percentage of people walked, biked, or took the bus to wherever they were going. Not everyone in the 1950’s had a car but those who did had some money. Women were Disowned for Having Children Out of Wedlock

Many women during the 1950’s gave up their children for adoption and it was mostly because of babies being born out of wedlock. Within this time ladies who got pregnant out of wedlock were shamed and disowned by their friends and families. They were considered a disgrace to the family to have a child before marriage. During this era, it was widely judged. Which I can understand why they would be disowned because they could not wait until marriage but on the other hand it happens sometimes. Many women gave up their babies up for adoption had the right to refuse to disclose the identity of the father. Lots of the ladies did choose to tell people who the father was but it was more common that the women refused to tell. Social workers at the time respected these women’s decisions about this situation. I personally have mixed emotions about this topic. 1950s Hairstyles That Were Popular and Easy

Thoughts on 50's Hairstyles Hairstyles back in this era were mostly shown of women with short curly hair. They had big curls that made the volume in their hair rise and looked so shiny as well. The women put curlers in their hair the night before while it was wet so once they took them out they would have lushish waves on the top of their heads. What is not talked about is that they did have long hair in this era. Those who did produced the commercials and photoshoots just did not include these types of women/hairstyles as much. All of these women had lots of volume and head full of hair as well, I am quite jealous. Those who had longer hair in the 1950's styled their hair with bigger curlers the night before as well.
