Elvis Aaron Presley was born January 8, 1935 and he died on August 16, 1977.

He was considered as a big star in the era of the 1950's. Presley is labeled officially as an American singer.

This man is also known for being a musician and an actor. He married Priscilla Presley from 1967 through 1973.

It is fascinating to know that Presley has four grandchildren. Before he became this big singer he was actually traveling on the road with his bandmates.

What he is known for is his style of music was labeled as rockabilly. He had the ability to combine country music with the blues.

It is shocking to find out that Elvis never wrote any of his songs according to an article.

What is known is that his label gave him the right to have co-writing credit on many songs because his management demanded song writers give 50% of the credit before Presley would record it.

Elvis's biggest hit during his prime was called, "Don't Be Cruel." Many people loved him during the 1950's because he had so much charisma and he had a baby face.

They loved his voice and how he had this bad boy image. Although one bad thing about him was that he did not eat the healthiest.

He was all about the fast-food and lot of people speculate that this is what caused his heart attack.

The Story of Hilliard Brooks Jr's Murder

In 1950 on August 13, a 22-year old man named Hilliard Brooks Jr. was murdered on a bus after he was accused of making a disturbance. Back in these days what was the disturbance, was he talking back because he had to stick up for himself or was it because he was protecting someone else? Some reports were very unjust and plain unfair in my opinion. The reason he was accused of this was because be refused to leave and enter from the rear bus as Jim Crow wanted him to. What Was Good About 1950's Cars?

I have to say that 1950’s cars look like they are from a whole different universe. What I love about these cars are the white streak around the front of each of the tires. You have many car brands such as the Packard, Mercury, Chevrolet Corvette, Hudson, Ford Thunderbird, Chevrolet Bel Air, Chrysler Imperial, Chrysler New Yorker, Buick Skylar, and more! I personally have to say the Chevrolet Bel Air is my favorite looks wise. Many people who had cars in this era were more towards those with some wealth.
