Women Who Were Considered "Fat" in The 50s Are Labeled as Skinny Today

What is good about this video is that they do not shame you because you are overweight but they try and tell you that your health is at risk.

They seem to care about your health and weight but this may be just this film they produced.

The narrator expresses the concern that excessive calorie intake can cause you to have a lower lifespan.

How men and women should not eat too much and stay fit not only for themselves but their children too.

Looking at what the 50's called "fat" seems to be skinny in the modern age today and they look healthy.

They do not have rolls that break the clothes nor seem to have them altered to their body shapes.

This video caters more towards older people as they look at a picture frame from when they used to be young and thin.

Although I do not think that older people should be bashed a lot but I think that they do what is right for their bodies and health.

Elders do not have good metabolisms like they did when they were younger and people in the 50's should not fault them for that.

People in the 1950's did not need to this harsh criticism for their weight they were perfectly healthy and should not be stick thin.

What Was Good About 1950's Cars?

I have to say that 1950’s cars look like they are from a whole different universe. What I love about these cars are the white streak around the front of each of the tires. You have many car brands such as the Packard, Mercury, Chevrolet Corvette, Hudson, Ford Thunderbird, Chevrolet Bel Air, Chrysler Imperial, Chrysler New Yorker, Buick Skylar, and more! I personally have to say the Chevrolet Bel Air is my favorite looks wise. Many people who had cars in this era were more towards those with some wealth. I noticed that a lot of the percentage of people walked, biked, or took the bus to wherever they were going. Not everyone in the 1950’s had a car but those who did had some money. Women were Disowned for Having Children Out of Wedlock

Many women during the 1950’s gave up their children for adoption and it was mostly because of babies being born out of wedlock. Within this time ladies who got pregnant out of wedlock were shamed and disowned by their friends and families. They were considered a disgrace to the family to have a child before marriage. During this era, it was widely judged. Which I can understand why they would be disowned because they could not wait until marriage but on the other hand it happens sometimes. Many women gave up their babies up for adoption had the right to refuse to disclose the identity of the father. Lots of the ladies did choose to tell people who the father was but it was more common that the women refused to tell. 1950s Hairstyles That Were Popular and Easy

Thoughts on 50's Hairstyles Hairstyles back in this era were mostly shown of women with short curly hair. They had big curls that made the volume in their hair rise and looked so shiny as well. The women put curlers in their hair the night before while it was wet so once they took them out they would have lushish waves on the top of their heads. What is not talked about is that they did have long hair in this era. Those who did produced the commercials and photoshoots just did not include these types of women/hairstyles as much.
